Victoria Hamilton
Victoria Hamilton, now approaching her 18th birthday began singing at the age of 8 under the advice of a friend who said it would help her asthma. Who could have known that this simple act would uncover such a big, beautiful voice with a 4+ octave range! In 2003 she impressed a crowd of parents and friends with her natural musicality and powerful intensity in a karaoke event sponsored by the Christina Rovics Vocal Studio together with Angel Thorne Music Co, LLC, two cooperating Bethel Connecticut music studios.As she continued to work with Christina her upper register developed beyond all expectations. She could imitate the most challenging of the singers but more than that Victoria was developing as a creative artist in her own right. Before she began high school she was honored by the Connecticut Association of Public Schools for Excellence in the Performing Arts. In August 2006, Victoria had the opportunity to travel to California to write and record with Elicit Music's Rob Hoffman and Heather Holley (Christina Aguilera). Many other professional opportunities came her way during her high school years which took her to California to record and even to Sweden where she worked with a major producer.
