Sharon McCarthy
FORMER STUDENT
Sharon McCarthy, who studied at the Rovics studio throughout high school, returned to continue vocal studies with Christina after graduating from C.W. Post College on Long Island and establishing herself in her teaching career in New York State. In addition to her teaching responsibilities she is now her school's director of musical productions. Sharon sings at every opportunity. In our 2009-2010 season she appeared on Singing for Joy in December at the Bridgewater Congregational Church, the Karaoke Songfest in February in Danbury, and recorded at Angel Thorne Music also in February. In February 2011 she appeared on the studio's Winter Concert at the Danbury Music Centre singing There's a Fine, Fine, Line.
In November 2011 Sharon appeared as an extra in the TV show Damages on Direct TV, an opportunity that she received by way of her marketing agency.
